As a matter of fact, I have those tires and I like them a lot even if they are a bit on the square side for my liking. I've been using Geax tires since back when they had green sidewalls. Overall though, I'm happy with the front Slant 6 like I mentioned.

I tired using their version of the "small block" on my 29er, but the bead wouldn't stay seated in the rim (DT Swiss) if I inflated it over 25psi.

Any Fat Bikes on this thread yet?
I test rode a "Fat Sand bike" on the beach and there's nothing like it,
once you're gone fat you'll not want to go back!
..... but they aren't cheap ........
and I'm saving up for one to get by the spring.

I picked up a 90s vintage Mongoose Expert Pro cruiser today. Ive wanted a cruiser for a while, and now have one that I got dirt cheap!

Here it is, a mid 90s hooptail. Someone has swapped out the seat and pedals. Has some surface rust on the chrome and the original Tioga gumwalls are starting to dry rot! It's gonna take some cleaning and polishing, and will need new pedals, chain, grips, seat. But, I work part time in a bike shop, and get discounts!

Did someone say fat bike?

This race staged today, just down from my house. 8F temps. -10F windchill. Only 70 miles to go, mostly offroad.

Oh, wow! 70 miles on those things!?! I am pretty sure my legs (and heart) would self destruct! Looks like a lot of fun though. Just like the rest of them, I could work up to that distance.

You'd be surprised at how little rolling resistance there is when you pump those fat tires up. A LOT less than my studded Nokian 29'ers!
