understood. that was a seriously rigid/efficient frame; more suited to competition than anything i do these days.

i'm much happier riding my old Hakkalügi around too.

cheers!

El Guero, did you get a new motor bike? guessin' a honda? Did you get it full of sand yet?!!
Yup, no more dual sports for me now. Just a couple big Honda V4s. I figure if I want to do some off-roading now, I'll get bicycle. I hear it hurts less when they fall over on you in the sand

almost done. Took it for the first time around the block. This bike is so light I'm afraid to ride it...

Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day so I'll take it for a longer ride.

well 15 1/4" chainstay with tons of clearance for mud, plus she climb like a goat, but going down was a different story

The idea was to have a paint job easy to repair, but also kind of fun, sadly the picture does not show how "neon" it was..

Ps: notice the U-lock as "Aero bar" and the fatboy tires, that day we where doing a "triathlon" and i was the bike man on the road course (around 15miles or so) against a bunch of road bikes..

For sure they have there short comings like added weight, flexyness (mine never drop a chain) and scary downhill (with the super short chainstays) but the climb and shed mud better than anything and does two factors where very important for me at the time I made it..
