I am asking because we do a lot of adventure races where we have to swim with our bikes, those are short sections, 100-200 meters, but it would be much easier if the bikes would float :-)

I have seen photos and video of them floating so I would guess that it might.

I think a Sandman Hoggar would be perfect for that.

Thanks $150 at Walmart

Install stem and bars of your choice and enjoy.

I recommend installing sealed bottom bracket bearings..they are "American" sized Dans Comp has the sealed bearings that pop right in for like $25... Rides much nicer.

Survey says - yes. This is not a 907, it's a Surly Pugsley - heavier frame/etc but same volume tires.

PS: Not me or my bike. I am a desert dweller, so I'm more worried about float on sand - which they also do.

And yes, they are a lot of fun to ride.

Ha ha ha, yes, this is exactly what I wanted to know, it is really a cool bike, I will have to build me one of those when I get a little bit older :-)

$1495 in Australia and only 5 in each size. I am begging my wife to let me buy one but she thinks 5 bikes will be too many

That's better than the $2300 I could get a Surly MoonLander for locally.
