Outstanding quality, as they're made by Waterford, which is Richard Schwinn's team. If it appeals to you, there's no reason not to own one. Waterford, also, make Milwaukee Bicycles and Gunnar Bicycles.

Very cool retro bikes with modern shiznit like disc brakes and internal geared hubs.

The Filson contact told me Shinola is owned by the same parent company as Filson. I guess this explains the 1 to 3k price tags for the bikes! Perfect for the Seattle hipsters. Every time I visit my Seattle office, I'm amazed at the cool bikes all over town. Now I just need to work on a line for getting a vendor discount!

I may not know shit from Shinola (as I've been told) but I do know that's a nifty bike.

Me,Me....!!

This bars where made by a company call "El Camino Fabrications" that used to be located in Berkeley but now located in Portland, the guy builds stuff for a bunch of high end Ti companys..

Amazing work and they actually feel pretty good too..

Another weld detail, a Motorcycle made like this will cost a shitload of money..

I always want one of this Maverick since I build one for a costumer in 2002..

This one is going to be mostly XTR, with Hope mono M4 brakes and a Maverick DUC32 fork..

Pictures of the complete bike next week, then the missing parts arrive..

I didn't know Jason was in Portland now. I'll have to look him up.

If I may...some of my own.

Wow, that's some pretty refined joint work. Is that a bottom bracket I'm looking at?

IIRC those bars were on one of Josh Ogles bikes. I think his brand was Jericho and Jason welded them all up.

Is that your Ti Phoenix? I had serial no 11 from the first year Steve made them. Sold it around 1998 and wish I hadn't.
