XR900R dual sport progress report......
I'm in the process of replacing these ![]() With something that's starting life, like these ![]() I'm replacing the stock guages with these ![]() I'm strengthening this ![]() With a bunch of stuff that looks like this ![]() I'm replacing the stock pegs with these ![]() Which will be extended to look like these ![]() I've got a good friend turning both of these into one that's a bit longer ![]() I'm taking pieces and chunks of these ![]() And these ![]() And a muffler design very similar to this ![]() Which will eventually look something like this ![]() I'm making shiny, new brake lines using these ![]() That same good friend is modifying this ![]() And this ![]() So I can eliminate the oil cooler and run one of these ![]() I'm going to chop up these to make one longer one ![]() I'm building a few of these to cover those very expensive calipers ![]() I built this from various parts of four other Showa shock models ![]() And I had to "add" this to get the KTM triple trees to fit

This guy has to be single, or has a kick ass old lady...... I like both ideas, this one & the night hawk look pretty cool.

Some awesome ideas there, Byrdman!! I was thinking of doing the same thing with the muffler on my Baja Bandit, with 16"s of ground clearance it'd be nice to just stick a muffler under there like a Buell and clean up the side of the bike. I've got an old Flowmaster that looks to be a good fit.

do you really want hard lines on that oil filter relocation anyway? Your not worried about vibration weakening of the metal line?

Consider in your planning that the under sump exhaust will mean an under water exhaust in creek crossings. Otherwise, this is a cool project
