The GPS needs to support NMEA output. I think the 62's do.
(http://www.gpsinformation.org/dale/nmea.htm) Check in the GPS under 'set up'

Tony has a different cable for the 60 that feeds power into the GPS too. I think he has USB support sorted now as well!

Cheers.

Hmmm, I think I've got some bad news for you, mate. I have only ordered 10 casings before I take a break from this project and have already sold out
Plus, you said you need them in a week's time, but I still haven't gotten the cases yet, so it'd be tough with the limited time
I will however restart the business around May, possibly June, from which point on l'll be selling the new generation of devices (you'll be the first person to know if you're still interested!)
Sorry to disappoint you buddy

Exactly! Or just look it uo in the PDF user manual. Up to this date the majority of devices that the repeaters have been sold for are the 60 and 276 series from Garmin, no other models!

Have you been talking to Ewout, again?
True, I have been able to sort out this matter . At first I thought I could give up on this project in the future since all the newer Garmin models are no longer fitted with a traditional data port, just USB. But, it's all sorted now and working together nicely!!!

Tony,

Ah! as usual I am a day late and a dollar short. Never mind.

I would still be interested to hear about the new generation devices when you have them for sale. In the meantime I will just keep looking down. :-)

cheers

Yeah, those were some from the last order.
The only pic I've got on me is that of a TM (the front glass is not installed, yet). The CR is the same, just with one button.

Basically, the internals are 100% identical to the "older" design, but the casing has been slightly altered.
These are anyway the final ones of this version (the casing of the next model will be similar in design), as I've already preparing to test the prototypes of the 2nd generation

To the others waiting on their, please be a little patient. I've got my final exams in 2 weeks time and I'm swamped with tonnes of work

No worries Tony, keep your head down and get your exams passed!

Nice gap on my nav tower ready for mounting my repeater to my bike when it arrives

Hey Tony,
Is there going to be a "next" batch of tripmasters/remotes? If so, when will they be ready and can I get on the list?
Thanks,
E
