Managed to turn my 20 mile car drive from work into a 120 mile ride on the bike this evening complete with a torrential downpour. The new SIDI Adventure Rain gortex boots kept the feet dry

I got an early morning honey do, after that I want to get out and ride for a bit. Haven't really planned anything but thinking of heading north into Missouri but got to be back in the early afternoon (2ish?). Anyone game?

Do that Chris. I won't be able to leave until probably 9 or so. I will have my phone with me. If you end up down in Hot Springs there will be another time.

Anybody now about this dirt bike monument? Second post the guy gives an explanation of it's history. Pretty cool.

That place is north of where I grew up by abt 50 miles..The Navy has a training base up there, China Lake..you just need to make sure you dont trespass on the gunnery range or you could be straffed! That one pic of mine shafts is for real! You have to be very alert and awake and know how to recognize deep holes in the earth before you approach them...brings back fond memories of my desert riding days
