I had the 1150 GS, great bike with a clunky gearbox. Now I drive a Strom with a clunky gear box.

My GS is clunky too. I think the noisiest gearbox I had was on a 95 Kawasaki ZX-9. That thing would find false neutrals between gears. You can imagine the pucker factor running triple digits and shifting from 4th to 5th or 5th to 6th and hearing nothing but gears chattering!

gotta ride at least 8 seconds to score so since you wont qualify in the trials, you can't ride!

yes, wife and kids are leaving town today sometime.

IM working tomorrow and some of Thurs, then headed to the lake.

got some friends from Missourie coming down to ride skis, and drink beer, and talk about wimminz...

I will likely be at Grubs tomorrow after work, and maybe today after work depending on what time the family packs up and gets on the road.

Laugh You boys are too much

On a more somber note thought I would pass on a watch yourself reminder. Thursday the day pilot (I am on nights) brought back photos from a motorcycle vs. car accident. Seems a Nissan Sentra was doing over a 100MPH passing cars with two drunk teens on board and hit a rider head on. Couldn't see the wreckage close enough in the photo to tell what type of bike it was but the pilot said it seperated the front of the bike from the rest of it. I could see his body under a sheet over 100' from the bike. This was up here in SE MO. We transported the injured passenger who for some reason felt compelled to tell our nurse he wasn't going to quite drinking and what not, besides he wasn't driving so not his fault. She got a little irritated and asked him if he knew what happened to the rider. He says, "I don't know, he's ok isn't he?". What an asshole. She told him he was dead. He had nothing to say.

So watch out guys. Lots of people like this on the road. Don't know how much time the guy had to react but I would rather hit the ditch than hit a car head on.
