I bought a new ac unit from Air Control. Not cheap, but fair. When they installed the new compressor I had them move that and an older one to a new location. They also replaced both condenser units in the house. One of the installers was good, the other was lousy. In the end I had to redo some of the detail work (hangers on pipes, retape insulation, etc.) myself. Overall. I was satisfied though.

Moral of the story...your satisfaction will depend on the skills and attention to detail of the technician you get. Air Control is a big company with a lot of trucks out there.

Doc posted earlier that this was a scouting trip to Judge Parkers court and the historical district. It's still there, next to the bar district. And just over the bridge is a motorcycle salvage yard that might be interesting.

I hate it that Cycle Gadgets went out of business, was real handy to just ride over and get stuff... Bummer on the freight, they obviously had about a 50% margin on the freight cost too.

I appreciate the offer but I'd hate to make you do that! I need to pick up a bunch of doors this trip, I may take you up on it sometime though. I just opened a dealer account with the Tulsa place so I need to get over there anyway and at least meet them and see how the operate. I think it will be a handy place to use, they can ups all my small parts I need, but the big stuff like doors, windows, bathtubs etc I'll have to drive and get, the shipping fee is not worth paying on that stuff.
