Highsided Friday night. I was not on the ride due to shoulder and bike issues. From Katie who was 2 bikes behind him lost tire pressure some point in the ride and as he was going through a larger corner the back end broke loose and he ended up getting tossed highside off the GS.
Stopped by tonight. he has a broken collar bone and ankle. Waiting to see when they schedule surgery

Dammit! Bill is a nice guy, thats too bad. I guess when you ride as many miles as he and his wife do every year stuff like that happens.

You can sleep here anytime. If you feel someone spooning you in the middle of the night I suggest you just roll with it and go back to sleep.

I hate to hear that Kris. I've known Billy and his family for years. Mighty good folks. If you can get a room number/contact info I'd appreciate it.

Sounds great. The future Mrs. has to heal a bit more from her surgery, but the ride and authentic Mejicano food is sounding really good.

He's at home now. They released him from ER early Sat morning. Don't know when or where surgery will be. Will let you know as I learn.

Nice jeep RR catfish. A liitle easier to take photos when your driving instead of riding isn't it.

Actually it is, plus it helps to have the Mrs along to take pixs while I'm crossing the creeks, I crossed each one at least three times.
The Beer Drinkers at the above crossing was laughing at us. But you know what their 4 door sedan wasn't going to.

I told wife when I seen that picture I didn't think it was that deep.

I'm sure it was, I wasn't getting into it.
5 minutes and the boys was shivering, I asked are you cold and ready to go, I got a big NO! We didn't stay to long there because of it.

That area begs to be explored on the bike, its all Greenbay Packaging land, with old roads all over the place.

Yo matt! I dunno if you need another 4 runner it not, but there is a clean looking one for sale on 265 near my house, its on the east side of 265 at someones house, and its right across from Lindseys apartments. Looks just like yours but silver. I dunno where that guy gets the vehicles he sells, about every month he always has a clean old jeep or scout out there for sale.
