She might not like that (on both counts), it's our anniversary tomorrow.

Wow! An incredibly kind offer from a complete stranger.
I'm humbled

I guess when I bought 2 sleeping bags and pads for a young homeless travelling couple with a dog just caught up to me.

I'm gonna cash in my good karma just yet though.

My buddies spotted me enough cash for the ride home.

Thanks for the good deed.

That was 3 of the 8 us us that were up here.

They told me about stopping to make sure everything was OK...never pass a suspect stranded rider.

I had just peeled off from them before they stopped to help.

I turned around, in waay over my head. Half a dozen long axle deep long standing water crossings,4 or 5 even deeper stream crossings, and a mos-snotty washed out technical steep uphill strewn with babyheads of all sizes.

No longer fun.

I'll tell ya'll about the Nissan P-up we saw freshly off of a 30 ft plunge at a switchback tomorrow.

Killer trip was had.

Again, thanks for the offers of help.

Mt. Magazine Campout June 17-19

I wanted to give those that are planning to attend the Mt. Magazine camping event a heads up on the accomodations. I called the office and there are two sites, 8 people max, 2 tents max still available. One for Friday night and a different one for Saturday night. There are two overflow campsites that are primitive, no utilities, that are on the mountain so I think that is what we have to work with. The lady I spoke with said that there is always room and that they rarely are full up. I put my name on a waiting list for sites with utilities so if you need one of those PM me if you need one. If one comes available I will contact you and you can call and reserve. Looking forward to it. Should be a blast.

Howdy gents,

I been way to busy to get online. Working an ok job but they keep me out here to the last minute and I flew my butt off the first two days. Been better the last couple, but still working 14 hours and it is hot and humid already. Going to be one long summer for sure.

I will get home 10th of June, and looking forward to a get together with the fam at my cousins lake house at Montenet that weekend.

Got to get over and finally read the SLAP reports so later.
