Have ya seen the new Triumph Explorer? I'm impressed with it. 135hp, 89 lbs of torque, 950 watt alternator. And about 4K less than a GS. Initial reviews coming are are good, but I'm waiting on a more long term test.
Paul at Adventure Motorcycle Magazine is testing a Super T right now. He's good to put it through the paces and deliver an honest opinion on the machine.
So far the Tiger and the XR will have to do duty for me. I'm ready for warm weather.
Speaking of warmer weather...
Peter Peitz and I are taking a week in the hill country in March. Anyone wanna come along? We're renting a cabin at Fox Fire Cabins and will have room. We haven't decided whether to take the DS bikes or road bikes. Either way we're gonna pass a good time.

Awesome, do they have a boat? If so I'm spending next summer with them. Table Rock lake is awesome.

Tell me about Fayetteville

Hey there Arkansians (Arkansites?):

There's a chance I might be moving to Fayetteville and of course the first question I had was, "How's the riding?"

I like a curvy mountain road as much as the next guy, but I'm more of an off-roader, single track, small bike, gnarly kind of terrain. Whatcha got?

Oh yeah, and how's life in Fayetteville?

Thanks in advance for any intel you can provide.

PS: This is one damn long thread you got going here.

I've got singletrack here in NWA that will make you hate life! Lots of tight and nasty trails just 30 minutes from Fayetteville.

As far as living here I think it's great. I've lived here all my life and seen people come and go, but they usually end up coming back to NWA.
