Yeah, we just got in Doc. We sat there for an hour, looked like a Corvette was passing an 18 wheeler the truck must have squeezed him between the cable barrier and him. The Vette had flipped a couple of times and was impaled on the cable barrier with the rear of the truck trailer sitting on top of it. We could see Life Flight lift off from where were sitting. That person has to be some kind of F'd up...

Another 1800 mile week for me. I've now racked up 6K in three in a half weeks. I also have got enough "family" time to last me well into the next century.

Glad your back, Charlie. Enjoy your own house and schedule (or lack of) in your control.

When you look into how those cable barriers effect moto-sikles they say that no studies have been done so we don't count.....

I once read a story from an accident investigator who said guard rails like the type we have around here are the worst for motorcyclists as well.

I flew a kid on a bicycle that was really hauling ass down a big hill by the old Cotter bridge was sliced open by one. You could see his guts poking out and you could see the tendons in his shin. He was like 10 and was going to have some really cool scars to brag about.

Anyway, got home Friday so howdy. We just went to the square to see the lights. Very pretty this year. First time I have left the house since I got home Friday. I was wore out.

Thumb mornin'

Good morning gentlemen. (you too Doc)

Nothing feels as good, to arthritic bones, as good old wood heat. Too bad it is such a pain to feed.
