Could have been worse Doc. The Ktm could have had a flat.

Keep us posted on Tim and let him know we are all pulling for him. Horrible news, let's keep him in our thoughts, ADV-AR family.

I just got done texting Mike. He says Tim is still out of it so even his wife doesn't really know what happened yet. Mike says no visitors at this as he is still in ICU.

They wouldnt keep him there, if he had anything brain bleed, or nuero like issues I dont think. ( he would have already been flown somewhere else in those cases)

so if he is still there, its likely a good sign, and I certainly hope so.

Me too Charlie, I was all excited when he mentioned a day or 2 ago about the 2012 camping schedule.

Update on Tim's condition

He is in NW Hospital in Springdale. Tim lost his spleen, six broken ribs, broken collar bone. He lost two quarts of blood internally. His liver is ok and no brain damage although he was bleeding from his ears.

He told Mile that he just came up over a hill too fast and didn't make the turn in time.

Thanks for the update Charlie.

This just makes me wanna fall back on the ol' safeguard of riding with someone else, like the buddy system for diving. I'd like to know who found Tim so we could extend our thanks to them. This could've been real ugly.

I agree O'jay. The buddy system works. It also drives home the point that "slowing down is ok".

I agree Charlie. And I've got a very bad habit of riding at elevated speeds, regardless of where I am. And on a 500# machine that's real stupid.
