can't believe how many LEO's i saw between LRK and NWA, over 20 running radar, counting 6(?) on one overpass on 540... I love me a Beltronics.
Hmm, they must be trying to get the whole 2012 years quota on the first day.

I think it will make a great vehicle for her Daron. We bought it at the right time. I had an app for my phone that gives invoice pricing. We got it for $50 over invoice after rebate. I'm sure we still got screwed but I feel ok about it...lol

At least the vehicle isn't "ORANGE", just sayin

BTW THANKS FOR THE BUYING ADVICE, it was much appreciated.

Looks like you all had a great time, hate that I missed it. Any guitar playing ? maybe dinner and a show ! Good idea if I leave the guitar at home, traded a Colt 10 mm Delta Elite for partial trade in on a gutar. Ended up hurting a lot more people playing the guitar then i ever would have with the Colt.

No picking Craig. Matt brought his guitar to me so I could bring it home and get it adjusted and setup for him. I left mine at the house as I drug enough other junk along with me for a "day" trip.

Though I wouldn't mind bringing it along for another lunch gathering where we might get to use a patio someplace and some tunes could be enjoyed.

Oleary : Belated get well soon

Tim, sorry to be so late with the well wishing.
I haven't checked in here since Christmas, busy with family and then a cold bug. I stayed buried in the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" books instead of online while fighting the bug.

Heal well. I look forward to riding and/or kayaking with you this spring.

Dangit! I missed another ADV feed too. I shall be more diligent in the future.

Thanks Dude! I appreciate it. I have seen all of the Trilogy of the swedish GWTDT subtitled movies On Demand. I am not sure how close those follow the book. From the promos it appears that the first English one differs from the first swedish one. I am going to see them tho. It is sure getting great reviews. That usually means it stinks but I hope not in this case. Any movie with Daniel Craig usually is pretty good. I look forward to meeting you, riding, kayaking, etc. as well.

I heard that! This mending is kind of a PITA! I guess I should be thankful to be among those still living and breathing. It was a great gift for the family having to sit in the ER waiting room all Christmas Day. I regetted that more than anything.

Got up this morning and saw Martha's new car sitting in the drive and wondered who the heck was here this early and then realized we swapped vehicles. Now, when is that coffee gonna be done?

Must mean it is a perfect time to hit the river. I'm off tomorrow for the next 5 days to chase trout on the White River below Bull Shoals for my annual eating/fishing fest.

This is the best that I could find for info on THE DAKAR RACE.

The network formerly known as Versus, now NBCSports network is doing a 30 minute daily recap. Channel 603 on DirectTV.
I spent most of yesterday following it here on ADVrider racing threads and on trackingdakar.NL. Been a pretty eventful first two days. 2 of the 5 Americans (in the bike category) are out already.
