Hmmmmm..funny you should ask..coy had found a FREE gps locator for our new cell smartass phone (www.locationof.com) and it wont work with IE, only chrome, fire fox and a few other fancy engines..so, I am going with chrome..I have tried chrome in the past and wasn't too impressed as I still had the same issues as I had with IE, was just as slow etc but since I knew how IE worked and found that chrome, being new to me, was cumbersome, I went back to IE.

So I am biting the bullet here and forcing myself to learn chrome..its ok, but performs the same for me, only because of my slow ass satellite provider.

As for this GPS location of app, so far it's been pretty neat..it up loads every 15 second and tracks..it also has google street view, where available as it tracks you..and you can flag (send a txt msg) so those following you will have a better idea of how you are doing..and this thing is FREE! It looks like it has really caught on in europe and south america...we have been playing with it the past 2 days and so far, we seem to like it.

I have no idea how to compare it with motion X as I do not have that one..would love for chuck and tim to look at locationof and get their opinion..so, thats why I went from IE to chrome

btw, morning fellers

I can't even begin to count how many miles I logged between Little Rock AFB and Baton Rouge in the 70's doing just that. On a Yamaha 360 Enduro. (anyone remember those?) And those were the days when the state required any m/c over 250cc's to have crash guards. So a piece of 1/2" pipe was bolted across the frame ahead of the engine with u-bolts to make the bike legal.

I use to race a Hodaka Super Rat at a track down by Benton. No fancy dirt bike helmet, wore an old Bell open face. Jeans, long sleeve shirt, combat boots, and gloves. One complete race outfit.

Somewhere around here I've got some pics of me on that lil beater.

Yip when I lived in Australia my friend had a 360 Yam and I had a 250 Kawasaki....Over there we has millions of acres to ride w/no hindrance...I wore desert boots, jeans, and tshirt most of the time...a lot of the protective gear came from riding on busy streets and racing. Sand(bulldust) was so deep over there when you went down usually a little scratch (rash) and sore muscles. Of course plenty younger and more daring.
