Yep, and I would as well.

To think that I would not protect my own is a foolish assumption.

we were speaking about a cable across an interstate and how to fund it though, not defending against a personal attack.

I think I'm with Mouth on this one, a giant moat would work well, and boats and jet-skis could double as commuter vehicles.

That sounds dangerous, therefore the nanny state would need more laws to save us from ourselves.

thats just what we need...more distractions at 75mph

something like this would keep people going straight and out of the median and anyone who dares to enter the median, deserves the carnage that they will endure

IM telling you, nerf barrier and taco/beer/tea stands are the way to solve it.

Be a pretty expensive commute.. haha

I think a superjet holds under 6 gallons of gas, and I can burn that in an hour if the wavemakers ( big boats) are doing me right.
Never really tried linear distance, but I know a trip from the 12 bridge around the islands and back will put me on reserve unless im riding like magoo.

Raining like crazy in Mtn Home. Seems like a good day to get some more work done on the Beemer.

At least this would cut down on the tax need to fund it, all those stands would be self supporting. Are we talking 'drive through?'

Aside:
Mouth, you or anyone else into water skiing? I have some cool antique water skis that need a home.

I'm pulling the rear swingarm off to replace the pivot bearings and one pivot pin. The ones in there now have just over 70K on them. I've also gotta check the pivot bearings and ball joint on the front end. Just doing a little well deserved TLC for the old buggy.

I'm bad tempted to go to Bentonville BMW and take a drool at the new R1200GS Rallye. It's purdy!

Speaking of, my brake failure light is on. The abs isn't working for some reason, it doesn't really bother me as I hated the abs and always switched it off while riding but I still wonder why its not working all of a sudden. Ill probably pull the tank and check the abs connections soon just for the heck of it.

Check battery voltage first. The most common reason for ABS/brake failure warnings is insufficient voltage at startup.

I disconnected the ABS on Yellaphant years ago. I figure if I haven't learned how to handle a bike in 40 years of riding I deserve what I get.
