Langs on Kings Bay. About three miles from the US Submarine Base. Damn it was good. Fresh flounder, hush puppies, cole slaw, and a nice ice cold "Full Sail Pale Ale". Yummy.
Tomorrow we will explore St. Mary's, go to the submarine museum and on the base. It was 78* when we rolled in late this afternoon. Martha's car was phenomenal on the highway. We were loaded for a six month trip, had the A/C on, were running 75-80MPH the whole way and averaged 39.9 miles to the gallon. I'm disappointed! They said I would get 42 mpg...but hey...I'll live with it. ![]() Martha's meal

Man that food looks good! I love me some shrimps and some blackened grouper! I cant wait to get down to the beach soon. One of these days I'll figure out how to spend my winters in florida and summers in colorado.

Ted. DaMoron and I are saddling up and leaving for New Orleans on the 18th, weather permitting. Pack up a bike and spend a week on the road with two undeniable miscreants.

Do you live up near Rockford? I've got a friend who still lives there, or did at last report. I also know some folks from the Mt. Morris/Oregon area. Pretty country. I love the big Chief statue in the state park on the Rock River.

Aaahhh
Nice soft rain falling here in the Twin Lakes area. The dust and pollen count will go down and my sinuses will maybe finally clear. Finish one more cuppa coffee and then out to the shop and try and finish a couple of customer bikes before leaving for work.
I'll be relocating my shop from the house back into town to a brick & mortar place at the end of the month. I'll be attached to a current auto/RV/tire shop owned and run by a friend. I'll still be doing only m/c service and tires. I thought by bringing the shop here to the house I could cut down on the amount of work I was doing. Not a chance. It keeps rolling in. I've run out of room to store bikes and can't even get the thumper indoors now. And when one of my bikes has to sit outdoors... Aahh, rain. The back roads will be great for Saturday.
