I'd say this belongs in the BS thread...

"I knew the sun was going to be in my eyes the rest of the way home and it got to the point where I wasn't going to be able to maneuver the turn," Petrino said. "There were about 15 seconds where I said, 'Oh no, here I go.'" "I think you just have to know what you're doing and know the weight of the bike. I thought I did and made a mistake when I was driving. I will wear a helmet from now on."

Lol, sun in his eyes...1t5 seconds of "oh-no's"

Inexperience got him it sounds like.

These Hog fans are cracking me up. I was scanning the radio stations and stopped on a sport talk show on 92.1. The two talk show hosts were about as ignorant as people come! One was repeating that "Arkansas has a helmet law and he was breaking it not wearing a helmet!" What a tard. Heck I dont think he even got any head injuries.

The hosts AND people calling in were raving "how important the coach is and he has no business riding motorcycles, He needs to stay safe and focus on his job". I'd tell those people to F-off. It's nobodys business. They need to shove their foosball up their arse and get a life.

Was just reading the article....

This for the F'ing Harley thread:

"Right as I came off the pavement I remember hitting the brakes and trying to lower the bike down, lay the bike down, and take a little leap."

He had to "lay 'er down".

Agreed, but don't feel comfortable sayin' so in public places around town. Despite the flaming football nuts, Fayetteville is the place to be if you must live "in town".

Yup, it's amazing how ignorant the non riding public is of motorcycles. All they know is helmets and "laying it down".

I don't know how many times I've explained to morons that "laying it down" = CRASHING!
