Dang Magoo If you don't watch it soon you will be as old as Matt. Then you with have to give up those sporty little things and move to one of those big boats called a GS like all the older folks are riding.Correction not all the older folks, Joe's just got the Goldwing, close but not exactly the same big ol boat.

Hey, He has a Hardly-a-Davidson so the boat requirement is already done, just like Doc, Ted, me, The Toyman, & others???? ::: sheesh ::::

I'm waiting for something like an FI XT350 or such. Just a little more than the 225, and I don't think that the new 250 offers much more than the 225, but I've not rode the new 250. I doubt that any Yamaha dealer would let me near one when they see what my XT225 looks like.

I think the 225 is a better bike than the 250 honestly, from what I gathered from owning an xt225 ( I miss it) and reading about the 250.

Mornin' Doc!

@mouthfull:

What 250 are you in reference too? The XT or the WR? If the WR, what makes you feel the XT is a better choice than the WR? Just curious.

All:

Don't know if we're going to be able to pull it all together, but wife and I are hoping to ride on Saturday, preferably in the Oark region. Sunday is iffy, though. If not Oark, then here in our region. High temp forecast to be low-mid SIXTIES!!! (Slight chance of showers AM, though.) Sunday to be sunny and a high of 71!

I can see Yamaha coming out with a bigger XT long before they do a WR 450R
