I agree. There's a contingent of folks who are seeming to want a milder form of the 350's for casual trail riding/dirt road stuff.

I've got a co-worker with the XT250 and I don't find that it rides much better, or is much faster, than my '95 XR250. It's still an old school air cooled motor with entry level suspension hung underneath it. Nothing wrong with that, it's an entry level bike.

For me the WRR is a great tool, but is overkill for the amount of riding I get to do off road. And the yella pig will still do a lot of good gravel roading just fine. The XR is a treat to me for the fact of just plain pushing it to the edge and then falling over the edge.

Methinks I may have to take the long way to work today.

XT225 > XT250

Yes, the XT250 looks a bit more modern, but, the lil' aircooled motor that could was definitively small XT225. Riding a slow bike fast was a real challenge, but I managed to hot-rod it all the way to Pelosi, MO for the BMW rally.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes...even the sideways ones. Everybody on this board acts 15 or younger ('cept Coy and Rocky), so age means nothing. I was at a double-header last night, and Terror-Scootie was cooking for the Tyson clan out in the outfield. No eats without a uniform

Fu**. Ive got to buy a code scanner for autos. My truck had the check engine light on so I am at ford this morning, its costing me near $100 for them to find the fuel cap is bad.
