I have a "hole" in my woods!

You can't see it here, but there is a hole in them thar woods!

Here if you know where to look, you can see it

Here it is! As big as the nose on your face! Almost..

You still couldnt see it? This looks all the way thru the woods and the trees you see in the back ground through the hole are the trees on the next holler over..

Here..does this help ya?

No, I did not make this..I saw it this morning..never seen it before today..

Looks like its beggin for a sunny trail or a dirt track!!!. w/ a secret opening!!!!

Back from Lubbock . Had to hop on the dirty XT and do a house > Savoy ride yesterday evening immediately off the plane. Lubbock weather was nice, except for the afternoon dust-horizons because all the damn cotton dirt is bare. Friday nnight we drank beer and watched a heavy rain storm with baseball and softball sized hale hit small towns around Lubbock (google the photos of damage on cars and double-wides). Avg rainfall is 18 inch or less. Not much riding around Lubbock and certainly no public land until Big Bend. But my gal's Dept Head owns land and suddenly I have access to some serious land. After seeing pics of the northern Mexico mountains/desert, I think a tour through there would be incredible, and probably dangerous from what I was warned....would have to learn to shoot a 45 on the fly. Maybe hire a trustworthy mexican outlaw guide in case we can avoid shooting our way outta trouble

In western TX, I will probably add to the one-car XT fleet to get to New Mexico and elsewhere and to have a heavier machine. KTM Adv 990 or BMW 800, and DRZ 400SM or equivalent yamaha. See if the XT can handle 289 Loop around Lubbock...probably too windy....

anyway. cheers fellas enjoy the sunny evening.

Should I:

a) wipe it down, throw it on an run it and worry about a lubing in a few hundred miles

b) Soak it in Kerosene/clean and re-lube before installing.
That is the same lube that's in the O rings of the chain. Run it!
