Any gas station that sells diesel, approx 3.85/gal, works to clean chains, fuel lamps, etc...

Kerosene - Andersons on Hiway 45 has it. They're at Hiway 45 and the intersection of Madison 8460 about 1/4 mile north of 412.

there is a fuel supply up in springdale on Emma, just east of the RR tracks and across the Jones Learning center..its on the south side of Emma..you can buy as much kerosene as you want there and fair price..be sure to take a container!

I drained XTiques tank the other day, since it still has some water in it.

It was dry this afternoon. So I added some fresh gas and XTique started first kick, none of that sissy button/battery stuff on it.
So a quit run around the field, and then down the road.
Its running acceptable, not perfect yet it seems to have a WOT stutter in there someplace. This thing has the equivalent of a two barrel carb.
I think the secondary is starving for fuel causing it to go lean.
Could be the fuel line that feeds it. I'm going to replace that one tomorrow.
Hopefully that cures it. Nothing to keep it from running, its only there at WOT and in 5th gear. So unless you want to run down the freeway its fine.

Its had an oil leak after sitting all night, I think I just found it. I was looking for the fresh oil and noticed that one of the side cover bolts was backed out 3/4 the way... I never had it off so how come is anyones guess.
So I tightened it and checked the rest and found 4 of the bolts was not torqued down. So hopefully that cured my oil loss.

I guess I need to make a trip to Bills tomorrow and get a quart of fork oil.
I need to dump the oil and refill them if I can find some specs for it. Then lube the chain and put the mirrors back on it and head to SLAP.

Hopefully no one with lights notices it doesn't have a speedo and required gauges to be really street legal.

Terry, I had pretty much the same issue on the XR..at WOT, it would spit sputter, miss a little etc..so I reamed out my pilot jet a little..that fixed it..mite look at the pilot jet and see if anything is plugging it up..I recent had that same problem AGAIN and so I pulled the carb and in the pilot jet, there was some kinda goo from bad gas I took out of my sons bike that had been sittin..once I cleaned and blowed that out, with fress fuel, no issues..runs agn PERFECT!
