Of course, we threw in 9 racks of pork ribs and a dozen ribeyes for dessert.

3 racks of ribs on each Weber (indirect heat, coals on one side, ribs on other) in an hour and 20 minutes. Perfect every time.

1. put on the rub of choice
2. stack them (ribs down), alternating thick and thin ends.
3. close grill for 20 min
4. pull the one off the bottom, place on directly onto the top one (do NOT flip). The two "cooked" sides are now touching.
5. repeat steps 3 and 4 twice.
6. After the last 20 minute interval, all sides of the 3 racks will have had an "exposure" (top or bottom). At this time, wrap all three racks together, tightly, in foil
7. return to grill for 20 minutes.

NOTE: times change slightly with outdoor temperature...longer if winter, a little shorter in heat of summer.

Been down at the shop playing mec-an-nick...
Added a spring the inside of the tube on XTique still no joy, the secondary opens and it runs like chit.
I can live with it for now and figure it out later. Its starting one kick hot or cold so thats good enough.
Workedon the kick start lever a bit it was missing a C clip.

Then I went for a test ride and dad comes down the road in the Willys.
It had a death wobble that was horrible.
So We jacked it up looking for something loose.
I found it.
The right wheel has a little up and down I could feel so I pulled the wheel
and checked the bearings and it was still some there so off came the lower king pin, it had 2 shims in it. I removed one and tried it and that removed all the free play now it doesn't wobble anymore.

Its going to need brakes on the front shortly too.
Susan took the starter for the mower down and got it rebuilt, now I got to mow grass this afternoon. There is about 6 acres I keep mowed.

I'm thinking about just towing the bike up with the Cherokee and leaving a day early for SLAP and sleeping in the back of it up there someplace.

I got a little 66 mile loop planned,Oark to Johnson Co 5550, down to 123, then maybe over to Pilot Rock, then the rough route north back to the big piney. (this part I need to ride myself first to make sure no one dies) Then City Road along the Big Piney back up to the highway and down to Catalupa from the north.

Best Food - Atoka / Stringtown

Will be heading from Texas to meet rest of group from Oklahoma en route to the great roads in Arkansas - Booneville, then Mountain Home and then back through Mena, for the Spring street trip. Any recommendations for breakfast cafe near Atoka or Stringtown (both Oklahoma)?
