I am sick of heavy helmets and even heavier helmet communicators.

Anyway, looking to buy XT225 again for my wife. She regrets selling the XT225, and wants another one.
What about the XT250? Awesome trail bike and it can cruise 55 comfy keeping up on the road. It is one tough bike. I haven't blown mine up yet and oh how I've tried.

This bike would never be seen on Little Rock's craigslist. :god
If it was it would be $2000 or more.
One thing I hate about our state is the blatant overpricing of vehicles.
Only place worse I've seen is south MS.

01 Kwasaki KLX300 for $1200
Someone looking for a good light DS candidate?

Newbie in Cotter

Hello to all. Just found this forum during my hunt for a GS and came across this thread. I'm in Cotter (near Mountain Home) and look forward to riding with some of you when I find a bike. If you know of a good bike, point me in the right direction. I'd like a GSA but will have to stick to the earlier ones to keep the cost down. Currently ride an Indian Chief and hosted a rally a couple weeks ago right here in Cotter. I enjoy riding it on 1-2 hour jaunts but yearn for the big trips...

lil tiring video, but...I think my Mexico bike might be a Vstrom. Man those things purr. Tons of top end and dirt friendly. A little big, but better to have that cruising power and turn like this:

....The climb at 52 sec is what the Vstrom can do! about 5:20 you can hear the Wee purrrrr. Damn those Wees are a ton of bike.

Aand, we should make our own vids.

Uh, can you quote yourself? Guess editing was a choice. Anyway, all my talk about mexico....uh, what I think I mean is US, AK, Canada, Australia, hell wherever. But maybe not Mexico...I just saw some horrible ride reports from there. We would have to make it to Panama or all the way central to avoid huge hastle.

OR, run day trips through the Chihahuan Desert and not get close to El Paso. Make friends with the border folks. And of course carry a 45 with 6 clips.

Nah AK sounds alot funner...

My ALASKA bike.

Absolute pig in mud and sand and the noise coming up from between the triple clamp and gas tank will drive you nuts not to mention the buffeting from the stock windshield. Top heavy as hell too! As me how I know.

I imagine the GSA's aren't much more expensive then the regular GS's once you get over 5 years old. Go back to the 1150's and I bet there isn't any price difference at all.

But discounting stators a DRZ, XRR, WRR and a host of others are better DualSports than the ktm.
