And the irony of that coming from a BMW rider is not lost.

Ive been to bentonville BMW in a car, more times than by bike.

ive never been asked what do I ride, Id likely answer that by saying something ridiculous like " your mother , most nights"

I know the kinds of guys you are talking about though, trust me, they are not limited to Bavarian bike riders.

the front counter guys ALWAYS have greeted me with a hello, or some funny quirp, I walked in on crutches a couple of years back one of them said " I hope you didnt do that on a bike!"

but again, ive never been in there when any other customers are present, maybe thats the difference.

I'm so busy racking up the miles on my overweight & under-powered pig, that you're lucky I even noticed...

I'll be accepting donations for a new ADVBoat.
So just send it via Paypal and I'll take care of the rest.

We collect enough I'll get a couple these too. For my friends to ride,
maybe even doc if we can get him out of his comfort zone.

I was down on the Arkansas River looking at a 36' sailboat a few years ago, and they had one like that there. Just pulled it out of the water and was cleaning the hull it had been sold.
Had 3, Big Block Chevy engine in it, 501ci he said myself. Was cool looking then I asked about fuel.
150 GALLONS an hour to run it..... to rich for my blood.

There also used to be some kind of water bike with a jet ski in the rear and a ski up front. you actually had to get up on top of the water to ride it. Can't remember what they're called, but I sure would like to ride one.
