Looks like a great place to take the wife and kids for a camp/swim once we get some rain.
some folks have camped there, but its like a mile hike back to it right now..if the lake is FULL, then you can float up to it..the big draw back is, it's on private property and I know the land owner

If it's the same place I'm thinking about it's not far from my house. The Corp of Engineers has blocked off the road on one end and there's a house built across it on the other end. Use to be a great d/s road.

So all you need is a title? Even if the title says for offroad use only?

I would think that the OFF ROAD USE ONLY would throw up a red flag and stop you in your efforts...there is always the "Bonded Titile" route..it will cost you both time and money, but you will accomplish your goal. You can "pretend" to have lost your title

In my case, I did not have a title, only a bill of sale..took a little over a month and abt $130 + and I had my dirt bike tagged. I never ever thought that I could do that. But I did and no regrets..I can ride my dirt bike into any town now!

Yes, while riding with your naked arse stuck up in the air, mooning the KTM riders who are broke down.

yes you figured me out!

my precious, get away from my Doc water!

that does look like a beautiful spot, but I wonder about the landowners, and what they have put up with for years in that area.

Id like to grab a wetsuit and a mask and go explore those cave like things Doc was describing as the dark areas.

I'll type what the Bentonville Revenue Office handed me, but do remember I have not gone through the process. Mossy is installing my kit on the WR450 as we type.

TRAIL BIKES THAT ARE MADE STREET LEGAL

IT IS POSSIBLE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO GET A KIT TO MAKE A TRAIL BIKE STREET LEGAL

TO REGISTER THAT BIKE THE CUSTOMER MUST WRITE OUT A STATEMENT AS TO WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO MAKE THE BIKE STREET LEGAL, ALONG WITH THE ASSSESSMENT, TAX CLEARANCE, INSURANCE, TITLE, BILL OF SALE AND COPY OF THE LOAN DOCUMENT IF IT IS FINANCED

THEY MUST BE SPECIFIC AS TO WHAT WAS DONE TO THE BIKE IN THE STATEMENT.
THAT STATEMENT MUST BE SIGNED AND DATED.

IF THE CUSTOMER GIVES US THIS STATEMENT AND WE REGISTER THIS BIKE, IT IS UP TO LAW ENFORCEMENT TO DETERMINE IF THE BIKE IS LEGAL OR NOT. THE CUSTOMER COULD RECEIVE A TICKET IF LAW ENFORCMENT DETERMINES THAT THE BIKE IS NOT STREET LEGAL

When Mossy gets through we will see how Bnville Office works.
