[QUOTE=Slim86;19333104]Anyone riding anywhere tomorrow? Can't decide on a dirt or slab ride. I have a new-to-me xr650r and just yesterday picked up my first cruiser ('99 Intruder 1500). Sitting on the back porch enjoying a cold beverage and all I can think about is that the high temp for tomorow won't be anywhere close to 100* for the first time in a long time.[/QUO

im prob goin for a ride tomarrow at some point . herd bout the temps too

Anyone else find themselves really wanting one of those all the sudden? So you could take it out and do all the silly things you've thought about doing while riding.

Oh, and I guess having the bike might be fun too!!!

I really do want a little bike to just ride the snot out of and then just walk away from without remorse when I finally kill it. Looks like tons of fun, then again I'm a hooligan by nature.

I went to Gus's and looked around at his place. Very nice spot and fixing up really neat for him and the Mrs. and 48 kitties. Those cats are going to have a real palace of their own.

Now I am home icing the big bruise on my right thigh. Right on the IT band it sure takes some work to get that leg to bend all the way. I still made my mountain bike ride to the gym today and the weather was nice. I have 86 miles down this week toward my goal of 100 before I go back to work. Should eclipse that mark by a good bit.

Funny story. When I rode Lake Wilson Tuesday I tried to ride under a small fallen tree. I fortunately was not traveling very fast, and I did make it under but my camel back caught on the tree. Would of pulled me off the back of the bike except my testicles hung on the back of the seat and wedged me in place. I kind of thudded to a stop. Kind of felt like puking for a few minutes.
You too huh??? Went out for a nice little ride today, was having the time of my life out there. Then I decide to call it a day and start making back for my car when I think, sure I'll hit that little area real quick, it's a good but of fun and doesn't take but 2 minutes.

It was something I've road hundreds of times before, been there for as long as I've been riding and never changed. So I'm hitting it with everything I've got, and you know how your vision gets when your riding at full tilt, you see that little area in front of you and nothing else. So doing a little over 20 in a massive berm, completely horizontal, when suddenly a giant wooden box is in the middle of the turn! Before I can really react I realize that between me and that big ole box is about a 2 foot deep crevice that's been washed out of the turn...

Thank peanut butter for my years of hard riding and hard crashing, I managed to land on my feet with my bike in my hands as always. That one could have been nasty though!

Oh and now that I think about it me and another rider almost had a head on just out of the tree line, we were both hauling down a hill from opposite sides... He was freaked out by it, and even more freaked out because I was laughing my head off. I can't help it! It was fun!

Since Hubba Bubba's is gonna be closed today I'm gonna try out the School House Cafe in Goshen.

Any takers?

Dude! That gives a whole new meaning of the phrase "Hair of the dog that bit you". I bet that will be the most book marked page on the internet.

How many of you plan on knockin' up your wives again to try it out?

None. Yeah, it's not that interesting, I agree.

Morning guys, heading out for a nice early morning ride in a few minutes.

Anyone notice all the ADV and DS bikes on craigslist lately? Someone is even selling a nice big BMW with a ADV sticker on it.

Is everyone trading up for the fall or cashing out?

Well, it's a long ways out of my way, like 2 blocks, but I think I can make it.

EDIT, I guess not, didn't realize they were closed on SAT.
