[QUOTE=Slim86;19333104]Anyone riding anywhere tomorrow? Can't decide on a dirt or slab ride. I have a new-to-me xr650r and just yesterday picked up my first cruiser ('99 Intruder 1500). Sitting on the back porch enjoying a cold beverage and all I can think about is that the high temp for tomorow won't be anywhere close to 100* for the first time in a long time.[/QUO
im prob goin for a ride tomarrow at some point . herd bout the temps too |

Anyone else find themselves really wanting one of those all the sudden? So you could take it out and do all the silly things you've thought about doing while riding. Oh, and I guess having the bike might be fun too!!! ![]() I really do want a little bike to just ride the snot out of and then just walk away from without remorse when I finally kill it. Looks like tons of fun, then again I'm a hooligan by nature. Quote:
It was something I've road hundreds of times before, been there for as long as I've been riding and never changed. So I'm hitting it with everything I've got, and you know how your vision gets when your riding at full tilt, you see that little area in front of you and nothing else. So doing a little over 20 in a massive berm, completely horizontal, when suddenly a giant wooden box is in the middle of the turn! Before I can really react I realize that between me and that big ole box is about a 2 foot deep crevice that's been washed out of the turn... Thank peanut butter for my years of hard riding and hard crashing, I managed to land on my feet with my bike in my hands as always. That one could have been nasty though! Oh and now that I think about it me and another rider almost had a head on just out of the tree line, we were both hauling down a hill from opposite sides... He was freaked out by it, and even more freaked out because I was laughing my head off. I can't help it! It was fun! |

How many of you plan on knockin' up your wives again to try it out?
None. Yeah, it's not that interesting, I agree. Morning guys, heading out for a nice early morning ride in a few minutes. Anyone notice all the ADV and DS bikes on craigslist lately? Someone is even selling a nice big BMW with a ADV sticker on it. Is everyone trading up for the fall or cashing out? |
