These were soft, sticky slicks, or a track tire with just enough tread to call it DOT legal? I ran Metzeler MEZ 2. This was the sport+mileage tire that lasted longer than the MEZ 1 sport tire.

Fall like weather???
Boy, send some of it down our way. Lately its been in the low 90's and upper 80's when I leave for work at 6 AM... and getting in the upper 90's and 100+ still. Ah well... come the second week of September, wife and I are either: 1. Leaving for the Black Hills of SD on our Ultra. 2. Leaving for Colorado in our 4WD and likely tagging the trailer along with our dirt bikes. Depends on which region has the best 10 day weather forecast about 3 days prior to departure. Vinduroman
