You should check into the whole home surge with as much electronics as you have, I think it was under $200 installed. It goes outside right on the meter, takes an electrician all of 20 minutes. If you ever need an electrician lemme know, I have been using a veteran Harley rider such as yourself, you guys would hit it off.
We got an offer for install from power company. Was gonna be like 15.00 a month and hi deductible and low max coverage....no good! Think your way would be the best deal. Like Gus said lighting can get your billfold even if you aren't plugged in. We loved on a hill when I was a kid spent my childhood unplugging everything we could before bed and leaving the house. Funny thing is it never hurt the fridge or freezer but had several tv's destroyed by it.
Still havent had a adult bev.

Packing up my computer with the rest of all my crap in the car, headed to work tomorrow.

I saw Travis and Zach at the gym yesterday. I got home on my bike (108 miles on the trip meter so I hit my 100 mile goal), and curled up in bed freezing and slept 2 hours, ate, slept the rest of the day burning up. I had a near 103 degree fever at bedtime last night. Thank goodness for narcotics. I was back to 98 by this morning. Some kind of virus going around, makes you nauseous too, but I never puked, I hat to puke. Hope you don't get it, it sucks. My throat is sore as hell too. (let the jokes fly)

See you folks in 2 weeks.

This came through my Facebook page. And I was complaining about the IT...

This weeks archive photo is from the cover of our October, 1947 issue. Along side it reads "HOLD 'ER FELLOW Bill Simmons finds the going tricky in the 1947 Sandy Lane National Enduro".

How do you like his outfit?... unzipped jacket, collared shirt, doo-rag, and aviator goggles.

I was kinda joking. It was way over my head (esp. the way we went in and came out). The link below shows our route down into the falls then back out (from south to north). There is a route along the creek bed in from the west that a group of GS riders took in, then they went out to the north. Apparently much better. Google "Frog bayou ADVrider" and you'll find it.

Here is a single post with contour map of our route. The creek should be dry, but it sure isn't for a newer rider like me.

Worth it? For me, yeah, because I learned that I've got zero interest getting into another baby-head rock garden like that again.

But, Zecat and Toyman should answer instead of me, as they can ride thus stuff.
