Thanks for the input. We're going to have to plan for both trips, so it helps to know this far in advance that there are some "easy" passes that Sharon would be okay with. We're gonna' have a tough time deciding which trip to take if BOTH forecasts call for nice weather!!! Coin toss? As for Colorado: I have the Steve Farson book "Motorcycling Colorado", which covers a wide spectrum of riding philosophies (from street to rugged off-road and stuff in between). From what he says in his book, it looks like Marshall Pass would be another excellent choice for a dual sport day should we go to Colorado. However, I AM concerned about how her carburated CRF230L will handle the Colorado altitudes, though. Either way it turns out, Black Hills on the H-D or Colorado in the 4WD w/DS bikes... we're looking to have a great time. DRZ Charlie: Pics don't show. Only white boxes w/red x's in them. Also, too long. Cut back on the words. Thanks. Vinduroman

Maybe we should start breakfasts & lunches over this way. Pigs & Chicks in Farmington does both. Burger land in Lincoln, seems to be some good ones in Siloam too, so.....

Chuck will be riding again soon!!
I'm open for a western AR breakie!!! I took the scoot down to Fort Smith to eat with my boy at Pink Flamingo BBQ. Maybe best ribs (next to my own) I've ever had. Brisket sucked, tho, overcooked, grainy and dry.

I was there Tuesday and had the same platter except it was twice that size. Rode down for work and the guy I was riding with had to eat there. Brisket and ribs both were perfect that day. Ate till I hurt myself. I best bbq I have had in a long time. What did you think of their sausage? It was the best of all. Only bad think I was on the clock and couldn't get beer with it.

Mornin fellers
![]() yeah we need to do a "out of FYV" breakfast run...get me some names of places on the western edge so I can put em in the poll... On the subject of the DRZ transplant, what charlie didnt mention was all the grunting and moaning that went on between us two as we were trying to pick ourselves up off the floor..bad knees and tonage combined with old age really sucked for us, but was probably entertaining for anyone who wanted to watch!

Travis had too many ATV's n bikes to use his lift so we were relegated to crawling around on the floor.

As kielbasa goes, it was done very well, but it is bottom-of-the-barrel meat on a good day. I prefer a real sausage or brat instead. I'll give their brisket another try based on your opinion, but if you have to put sauce on brisket to choke it down like I did, I don't have much hope for it.
