You are a sick man Lewall. I love that in my friends! But no, I need to finish up the DRZ. Gotta put that dang bash plate back on and fix my hand guards properly and do some chain maintenance.

I also promised myself to go to the gym and workout this afternoon. I've been going every other day but missed a couple working on the bike.

the most you "might" get out of it would probably be a 230, maybe a 240..and even then, you could sacrifice reliability...if you want a 250, might think abt selling it and shop for a 250
well thanx for the insight doc but im thinkin if i get a bigger piston up in there with a different sprocket setup. maybe it will be a lil more highway frendly

Doc I order all my mtb stuff from nashbar.com you can usually get smoking deals on tires and parts there. As far as maintenance I usually do my own, but I have let Fayetteville bicycle across from auto zone work on mine some. I also bought my bike there, but bought the wifes at Lewis and clark.

Charlie
Unfortunately, my wife's doctor's appointment got moved from last Friday to Monday so I won't be able to ride. Unless something unexpected comes up I'm planning on riding Tuesday though. Sure hope the gravel stays a bit damp!

Tuesday would be great and greatly appreciated if Tuesday works for everybody else. I don't want to be the fly in the ointment though and prevent others from having a good ride Monday.

Several years back I went down to Highroller Cyclery, just a couple blocks off Dickson. I wanted my bike gone through before I shipped out overseas again and they only charged me half their regular rate because they told me it needed minimum work. That attitude has made me a loyal customer.
