Kathe and I did almost 450 since yesterday morning. Maybe Mouth needs to toughen up a bit?

It as nice seeing you and Kathe. I hope it wasn't too hot getting back to Mountain Home.

I just got back to Nebraska for a short 3 day week.

Just over 100 at Natural Dam. 105 in F'ville. 97 when we rolled into Mtn Home. We put down several bottles of water/powerade/etc on the way home.

Mighty good to see y'all as well. Your turn to come north next.

We stopped to see Charlie and Jeannie, they were barely out of bed. Visited a bit and then hit the road just after 10am.
I'm sure ready to see a lil bit cooler temps for Kathes sake. She was miserable today. I was ready to head down dirt roads but didn't wanna push my luck.

Ted, I need to get your addy so we can visit next time we roll through town.

You could feel the humidity increase as we got down around the river bottoms. I almost drained my 100 OZ hydration pack today.

If I had ridden this weekend I wouldnt have complained about the heat!

I was instead working on little projects most of the time, and it was too damn hot for that sort of stuff.

No. I think it's because some of the other jaspers on here find it inconceivable that I may just know more than one Charlie.

Your marriage is safe. Your reputation on the other hand...

early morning ride

Got out of the garage about 6:15 am and headed out for a ride. Made it back to the house about 10:15 am. Was not too hot and enjoyed living in the Ozarks. Funny thing is that on my way back home I took CR 121 off hazel valley road and hit a dead in at a house with a couple ladies out front with about 6 big dogs. Pulled a quick u turn and one lady flagged me down. I thought she was going to give me an ear full due to speed but instead asked where I was going. I asked if this was a through road and she replied CR stopped a the bird bath. Must of missed that Next lady came up and recognized her as ER dr that is a client of mine and recognized her dog with CHF(congestive heart failure) She invited me in for coffee but I graciously declined due to need to get back home. Will need to fix up a cooler for the Xchallenge for house calls in the Rural Areas. Doc
Any hoo.... great ride this morning. Got to go back to Frog Bayou on the new to me x challenge and loved every minute of it (minus the rock hard saddle)! Thanks to Joenuclear for the great wheels and hope you are enjoying Chester!!! Sure do miss that fella...
