Cool Val!
Wife and I will be doing Phantom Canyon/Gold Camp Road over to Colorado Springs this Sunday and returning via Gold Camp Road/Shelf-Red Canyon Road on Monday! Then it's off to Pitkin for three days of riding out of there.... then over too Crested Butte for some more riding... then... We're so excited we're about to pee our pants!!! ![]() Vinduroman

I didn't get on CR 9 (Shelf/Red Canyon) road, my trip got cut short, but that also looked fun. These roads were my speed, not technical, and almost desserted even at the end of July. You should be alone by now out there!! Great stuff. Ride safe and have fun!

Razorback RIders and DS talk
Hey guys..anyone here good at making a Power Point presentation? Razorback riders want us to come in and discuss dual sport riding with them and I am thinking a presentation with some pix and maybe some GPX tracks and a discussion on such etc...maybe 10 minutes or so..nothing real major, just a little bit of what we do..we have until OCT 2 to come up with something..so anyone good on power point?????

Pp?
Jack, here. I just joined the Razorback Riders org yesterday at their meeting. I'm thinking that PP is overkill. They are a great group of people who enjoy riding. PP seems too business-like. I suggest you take the items you want to discuss and do it verbally. Leave more time for questions than presenting. Travis will be there and I have done a fair amount of offroad riding on the wee Strom and GS so likely among the 3 of us, we can let them know what it's about. They want to keep the event simple for the first year. Low-key type stuff. Disclaimer - I am a member less than 24 hrs, but I'd keep it low-key.

VM:
Like I said, we're pretty excited to get it started. (Leaving early Saturday morning.) As for our other rides: Trips out of Pitkin: Day 1: Up over Waunita and Black Sage Passes to Sargents, then Marshall Pass to Poncha Springs or Salida for fuel/food, then return via the same. Day 2: Up over Cumberland Pass to Taylor Lake for food/fuel then return via the same. Day 3: Short day. Up to Alpine Tunnel, explore the old railroad artifacts there, then back to the cabin and load up the bikes and head for Crested Butte. Crested Butte: Up and over Ohio Pass to Paonia for food/fuel, then return via Kebler Pass. Haven't decided what we're going to do Saturday morning. We plan to leave Saturday afternoon and make the return trip a two day affair. Can't wait! V-man
