Travis will be there and I have done a fair amount of offroad riding on the wee Strom and GS so likely among the 3 of us, we can let them know what it's about. They want to keep the event simple for the first year. Low-key type stuff. Disclaimer - I am a member less than 24 hrs, but I'd keep it low-key.

Yeah travis mentioned you to me today...you may be correct...I was think showing a few pix and maybe some GPS stuff just to give a better idea of what we do etc...perhaps just a talk with them so that they kinda get a feel for it would be best..tnx for your input!

I am headed off to Colorado Springs first thing in the morning. Hauling the red GSA there then headed to Durango area, on the weekend. Rode Phantom Canyon last two years, will again as it is just an enjoyable ride. Will have to look for some of the other back roads next week. Maybe will see ya along the way.

Wife and I are leaving Saturday morning for 6 days of dual sporting in CO. (Trailering out.) On Sunday, we'll be riding from Canyon City to Colorado Springs via Phantom Road to Gold Camp Road. We'll be spending the night at Colorado Springs (backpacking our stuff) and returning via Gold Camp Road and Shelf-Red Canyon Road to Canyon City. From Canyon City it's over to Pitkin for three days of riding out of there, then over to Crested Butte.

IF you see a '12 WR250R ridden by an old geezer and an '09 CRF230L with a lady onboard that's holding her looks much better than I (both with OK tags)... that's likely us! Be sure to say HI!

Howdy gents. I drove to Conway and back today and got my new 2 kid bike trailer. That thing is cool, and we already took our first ride around the hood as a family, finally Marina gets to ride the bike I bought her. We are going to take it to the multi use trail this weekend. Uphill towing those kids will give me a nice workout. Of course the multiuse is pretty close to level, only mild elevation changes.

I rode the DR on some errands yesterday and I think I got a problem. Last time I was home I had it leak a bunch of gas in the garage after a ride and when I checked it out the fuel line slipped right off on the carb input and I though this was the problem. I put a new line, it is not leaking. However after parking it for a bit with the petcock open I could smell gas, I turned it off in the garage when I got home, but I am thinking my needle isn't seating. Maybe time for a carb rebuild.

Wouldn't it of filled the cylinder if the carb was leaking? I pulled the air box drain and no gas came out, just some filter oil.

Anybody got a suggestion?
