Speaking of roads, the brilliant minds building the new Crossover road are putting a median down the middle instead of a turn lane! In this day and age, why are those even considered? I hear the condos near Joyce/Crossover had to fight them just to get a cut so they could pull in to their property. Do any of you remember the median on 71B in Springdale? That was the biggest cluster ever, it was nice to see them remove it. I just dont get why we need the added maintenance costs to mow and take care of trees and flowers in the middle of the damn road.

Ted, think of all the trees planted in the sidewalk down town the "beautification process"

ever see the guys with the 3/4 ton truck, 16 foot tandem axle trailer, water tank, and generator watering the trees 3 times per week in the summer?

blocking one lane of traffic to do so?

and then 18 months later when the ornamental tree is too large for the little hole in the concrete they block more traffic, dig it up and plant another smaller tree.

what ever dumbass came up with all of that bunch of horseshit needs to get a job at Mcdonalds bobbing for french fries.

Oh yeah, I've got tree marks down my truck from those and curb marks on my tires from those dumb add curbs they put on college near Dickson! I guess we pay these people to come up with dumb ass ideas! Amazing the money spent at Dickson for that median thing, only to have to pay to remove it....THEN build more on College?

They did the same thing last year on Grand Ave. at U of A Fort Smith. The north side is a campus parking lot and the median is planted with shrubs and Magnolia trees. The jaywalkers hide in them and dart out when they think they can makeit.
