Wow, he is lucky!

Good to hear your buddy got in there in time. I have had a few friends get stints for blockage. Seems like you can have a fair amount of blockage and not know it. Pretty scary.

I've got them on my SuperTen. Got 11500 with a millimeter of thread left, but was going to the Black Hills. Front has 17K on it and still has 2-3 mills left. It may never wear out!
They are a great all around tire, but you will probably like the TKC's better except for how fast they wear out.

I don't know about rooms in Huntsville but Doc will chime in I'm sure. I know he rents them by the hour on a frequent basis.

Eureka fills up. Usually nothing available there unless you go to the 1876 Motel but bring your bed bug protection juju.

I didn't think they allowed goats in motel rooms???

Anyway... thanks for the input, Charlie.

Wife and I are thinking about leaving Friday after work aboard our Ultra and head for Eureka Springs. Thought we'd like to get a room in Huntsville so we'd have more time in Eureka on Saturday to do some texture pics and stuff. We'd then head home sometime in the afternoon. Poor timing on our part in view of the Pirate weekend... but you gotta' do things when you can sometimes and not when you want.

4 years ago last July I started having some shortness of breath when working out. One night my wife and I were on a walk and I all of a sudden couldn't catch my breath. After stopping for a bit, I was able to make it home. Went to the clinic the next day and they sent me for tests. They found 98% blockage in one and 95% in another. Put stint in one and ballooned the other. Afterwards I was amazed how good I felt. It was like I was getting 4 times as much oxygen when I was breathing. It was a fast recovery, and I was exercising 4 weeks after surgery. Stress tests every year since have been perfect.

Your friend will be better than new in no time.

It is mostly genetic. I have a long family history of it. Mine happened almost at the exact same age as my dads. He was in perfect physical condition when his happened and I was in pretty good shape and watching my diet too. If you have a history in your family pay attention. Don't put it off, that is the mistake most people make.

I'll be on my deck watching it with a cold beer in hand. Should be fun!

Sure. Your company is always welcome! Of course I have no idea what the flight schedule is, but half the fun would be waiting for it to go overhead.
