Everyone bailed on me for KS, and then I found out yesterday that the kiddos were out of school today so I just stayed home.
I wasnt sure that riding 700 miles in the rain to meet some strangers, and then camp ( in the rain) with strangers was the best way to spend my precious few days off this time of year. Daughter's Science class hatched baby chicks, she has been wanting to bring them home since before they were even put into the incubator. well, she got to bring home the deformed once first, One had spraddled legs, and too many toes. One had a twisted spine, and one leg was partially a wing, then she brought home one that appears to be blind. I asked her what in the hell are we gonna do with a bunch of deformed birds. Her answer " Dad, I know what its like to loose a chicken, I just wanted me to be the only one sad, not the whole class" needless to say, we are burying about one chick a day at the current mortality rate. so, I basically decided to stay here, and just be a plain old dad this weekend, not a whale foreskin wearing badassed adventurer.

Got my $2 Cycle Gear bargain bin rear tire mounted up on the 450 along with a Tubliss set up (only been running the front for the last 3 years). Holy crap those cheap tires can be a biatch to mount!

I am on the search tomorrow for a couple of capacitors.
470 micro farad, 16 volt or greater. I will check rat shack, but will likely end up having to order, unless someone knows a good electronics store in town? they are probably 20 cents each, maybe $2 at rat shack, but shipping will be $10 ![]() sons HD gaming monitor has been on the fritz, so I bought him a new one, and could not bring my self to toss this old one in the trash. opened it up, and found a couple of swollen caps

there was one in springdale years ago, not sure if its still there... good call though.
it looks like rat shack may have them in stock, but they are the same 85C temp rating as the units in there, so its a 4-5 year life span. Id like to find some 105c rated ones, but im too impatient to order and wait. so likely whatever rat shack has that is close, gets soldered in tomorrow so I can button her back up and get back to shooting people in the face on Halo.
