I took the R5 out to run some errands yesterday, and took my new SIL deer hunting (muzzle loader) this morning.
I got a button buck, and showed him an eight point.

He just wasn't quick enough on the trigger.

So one less on the road, and hopefully another will go in a week or so.

I heard some shots out this way, but I think it was just some bubbas target shooting..no black powder abt it!

Actually spent the week in Cape San Blas, just cruised over there yesterday to check it out. First time down here, but from the reaction of my wife, probably not our last. Oysters in Apalachicola were fantastic! Reason enough to come back!

Conch cakes were pretty tasty too!

Maybe Doc is lost no "good morning fellows" posted by him as of yet. Instead of being an old goat maybe he captured one. I am sure he will tell us the rest of the story.
