As is, that Sportster could be a BALL to ride on a good grass track. Put flat track tires on it, and it's ready to go flat tracking and would be an absolute hoot. Few bikes sound better than a Sporster that's been breathed on with speed goodies.

I know its short notice, but how abt a camp out and a "help Doc with the Jeep" day this saturday?? I have the bolts drilled, but not out..need some good strong easy outs or someone who is good with a welder (will need a portable welder too, no power where the jeep is sitting)..Jay said something abt comin over this way for the weekend..suppose to be nice and cool, perfect for camping!

so watcha'll think? wanna do this?

Why would they go to the trouble of adding Ohlins, and then spec the parts with almost no suspension travel?

There are DS Sportsters out there. They have 14" or longer shocks and forks with DS-worthy amounts of travel...
