I have been doning fairly well lately with this, hit a bit of gravel on the street mid corner and just let it slide a bit and not grab brake. However this morning I had two instances.

First couple fine then passed a jeep when I had the opportunity which lead me into triples as I went into the right hand corner. Well as I hit the appex I can see a friendly County PO sitting in the ditch in the right hand ditch just beyond the end on the curve.
Well I grabbed a lot of break to get it down to 55 in a 45 as I went by the nice PO again resulting in me scooting just over the center line just beyon mid corner.

Thoughts, advice beyond the common sense slow you arse down? Just concentrate on pushing the inside of the handle bar forward and down a bit harder?

Couple things that will help a lot is to weight the inside peg and look through the turn.

If you remember "Laugh-In" the three wheeler fell over a lot.

Oh, and the rest of ya all too.

It wasn't like I was taking any of these corners faster then the bike of I could handle safely.

It was just how do you work at keeping it leaned in when you do let you mind wander, Doh keep your mind on the road. Or need rapid controlled decrease of speed while in a corner do to a sudden PO, deer, boobs, or great ass appearing within your field of view. Oh wait those last two usually happen on campus and I ride around there extra slow just for a chance at such views.

Has anyone tried out the new Asian eatery in Farmington, right across from Arvest bank? Was thinking I need to try it out. But if someone has experienced it they can share info. It may save me from some really bad starchy food or get my behind in there quicker to try it out.

Need to press a bearing off and back on an axle shaft

Last time 18 years ago I used mesplays machine shop in fayetteville

Need an arbor press and plates basically

Any ideas?

When I first started riding again, I had a couple of instances, just like what you described.
I "knew" what I was supposed to do, but my mind was second-guessing and over-thinking.

Entering our neighborhood from hwy 59 the road drops dramatically into a hollow and back up the other side. Leaning into the corner and having the pavement "drop" from under me "got in my head". It did this the first time I turned in from the right and the left.

Both times I literally yelled "PUSH!" in my helmet.

It sounds stupid, but it made me do what needed done, instead of second-guessing myself into the ditch.

Now that turn is just a fun sensation at the end of a ride.
