Off to spend a blissful, funfilled morning at the VA...blech....

Anyone up for Mama Deans for lunch? I should be able to be there by 11:30-45ish.

The weirdest part of his recipe is slicing it in the morning BEFORE putting it in the oven. I might slice one and not the other? In any case, if it sucks, Matt's to blame.
The briskets look great, what time are we supposed to show up to eat?

That was exactly my concern. Why spend the money first only to find out they aren't going to let you do it?

I have a couple buddies who buy bikes without a title and then file the bike as a "Repo". It's my impression that titling a repo'd bike is pretty simple.

Speaking of simple, an abundance of runoff water and the 25°F temp, made not riding to work today, a simple decision. This morning, a local guy on a cruiser, wiped out on a ice covered curve. Thankfully the ditch stopped his slide and he didn't end up under someone's wheels. Y'all be careful...

yep..you are correct! She is my moms big sister and since my aunt and uncle never had any kids, my mom shared me with them...she took care of me when I was a kid coming here to help on the farm since "64", and now, I get to take care of her, I owe her that.

Right now we are in limbo..she is still in hosp..was a confirmed heart attack..pain is starting to subside some..there was talk of Hospice but Dr said yesterday to put that on hold for now until we see where she is the next day or two health wise. As he said, "she is 86 and nothing much we can do but let nature take it's course".....and he is correct
