First thing is to be patient. And do nothing further till you have a good discussion about this with some who have done it before. Spending more time with the bureacrats will make you familiar to them and they MUST give you the hard line. .Anyone who has been in the armed forces knows to NEVER ask for a yes answer from someone who is only authorized to give NO answers. Its their mission in life. There are ways to do this with minimal hassle and expense, do your homework with the guys here. In Texas on an XR4 type bike, a HI/LO headlight, horn , brake light and DOT tires is required. I have plated 4 of these with a brake light ONLY. Use your head, never charge straight ahead, the British tried that.

Right now we are in limbo..she is still in hosp..was a confirmed heart attack..pain is starting to subside some..there was talk of Hospice but Dr said yesterday to put that on hold for now until we see where she is the next day or two health wise. As he said, "she is 86 and nothing much we can do but let nature take it's course".....and he is correct
Prayers sent. I was fortunate to have four Aunts like that. They all took turns spoiling me more than their own kids. One left. God Bless!

Eek No supervisor

For gawds sake do NOT involve anyone who might want to justify their position, Just do what the nice girl asked you to, be patient (be really patient) and things WILL happen......albeit slowly.

We did! But it's more fun talking about you when you're there.

Best wishes and prayers for your Aunt.
