Oh and Matt, that tap you gave me isn't 8X1.25. It's marked that way but it's bigger.

hmmm ok, maybe I misunderstood the threaded insert kit.

Ive got the whole kit if you want the install tool, drill bit, and inserts.

Worst part of the job. Brake fluid flying everywhere. Still gotta bleed 'em, but it is in. That will be another day.

Me too! I got to ride saturday at White Rock, I helped break in some trail for the long course. It's gonna be a rough SOB! I'd like a dual sport ride this weekend if its warmer so keep me posted.

Good info Katbeanz,

sorry Albie, I gave you the wrong tap, i do recall it had STI on it.
I told albie when I handed it off, I didnt have one my regular tool kit, but found that one in my thread insert kit, i should have known it would be "speshul"
