Got the DR 650 back up and running thanks to Matt!

Also threw on the dirt wheels with a new rear tire on the 690. IRC TR8

Not that TR 8. I have been using the VE 33's on the fronts of both the 450 and the 690 and they've been great tires.

Aren't the VE33's called the "Vulcanduro"?

If so, that's the tire that gave me the best service when I was doing guided trail rides back when my ol' XR250R was nearly new. Seeing as I had to keep a record (for taxes/etc) of expenses, I went ahead and tracked how many miles per front/rear tires, chains, sprockets, oil changes, etc, etc. Amazing how much it costs to ride your scoot often and a bunch of miles. Anyway, the Vulcanduro was the best for long wear... had the stats to prove it.

OK i have 49 states downloaded to the GPS. It will show my speed so that will work for a speedo on the bike as well i hope. Got a mount on order to hold it on the bike.

I also orderd the bigger chip for the GPS. It all fit on the GPS is there any reason to use the chip?

Nice!

Like the look of that tire. How does the 690 compare to the 450?
