Not sure who eoR is but I think who you are thinking of Doc is Razorback Rider from Hot Springs. He had a pretty bad get-off out at the Ross Foundation and lacerated one of his kidneys. He did a TAT RR tho. He is the one I remember saying his wife pretty much nixxed his riding career. He had a couple of younguns. Noone cares if those of us who don't have kids at home cash it in riding. Just means big insurance settlement and the life of leasure continues.

Eor had a great thread on here called "Wandering about in the Hundred Acre Wood" which went on over several years. One of the first threads I read on ADV, it was a good one.

It's weird, I ran into him a couple times around Clarksville back when I was still living in TX. The whole year I lived in Clarksville though, I never saw him.

I have never had a bad rib from PEs..I hate to hear this..now I am craving me some BBQ ribs..

They were meaty and tender but just didn't have any flavor and were just awful greasy. The little joint between Elkins and Crossover has better ribs IMO. Not as tender but a hell of a lot more flavor. That and they didn't have me exploding my toilet.

thats what I have been doin here and I didnt eat at PEs..so I suspect you have another cause and not PEs ribs..as for that other lil bbq place you talk of, I have been wanting to give it a go, so, maybe next lunch we will do there????

Aunty update:

She had a real good day yesterday, very alert, she even ate some after 4 days of no food at all. Today is a different story. She is having alot of hallucinations. She knows who we are but wasn't sure where she was. This is kind of normal for folks her age (86) in their last days..time is near I am afraid, and we are prepared for it.
