site seeing.......The spot where the bridge is out from the Schwartzenegger movie is right over Bahia honda. one of the few real beaches down there I used to go snorkeling amongst stingrays and barracuda. Some of the few good memories I have of that place.

Hey Doc, I hope you're finding some time to recoup and heal. Sorry for your loss.

My wife grew up in TX. One benefit of her high school diploma is it doubles as a handicap sticker.

I encourage everyone who loves Texas to move there.

I doubt it, considering the bike is wrong color.

That bridge goes over to No Name Key from Big Pine key. No Name is where the bazillion endangered Key Deer hang out. Just gawkers ride there. Those folks were fishing, and it was scary to ride past them because they'd haul back and cast without checking traffic.

Yeah, that is the True Lies scene (I think I captioned the picture that way) where Jamie Lee gets pulled from the car.

People are often surprised how few nice beaches there are on the Keys. Another nice beach, actually really nice beach, is on Marathon called Sombrero Beach (ocean side). It was close to the house where we stayed. The coral outcropping in the middle of the beach was really deep off of it, and had some huge predators hanging out snacking on the smaller reef fish.
