Albie the jackhole, and some cornbread

Cornbread, ALBIE.

working on the square today, kept smelling good things from Brick house Cafe.

finally stopped in about 11 to ask what the special was.

pinto beans, with local bacon, and cabbage, and cornbread

it was delicious.

this cornbread was crunchy, like stone ground, yellow and blue cornmeals, but it was light and fluffy like cake , but NOT sweet, may have been a hint of chili powder in it.

it was good, I should have taken a picture but I was too busy eating.

I like sweet cornbread. Don't enjoy dry cornbread, neither.

Good cornbread is really good eating with beans n' taters and also crumbled up in milk!

yeah I jump around, some times I ll put some sugar in it, sometimes not.

same with biscuits.

this cornbread was easily the best texture ive ever eaten, It was moist, much like cake, just not sweet at all, with a good hearty corn meal texture mixed in.

Right you are on the slice of white onion!! For a different twist on the beans: We also like to ladel them on to a slice of buttered white bread.

Ummm... needs to talk Honey Buns into a pot of beans!!

Riding season is just getting started.

I can't seem to get away from F650. Gas and go, with the magic button...

Riding home from work tonight, first left turn, is a downtown intersection, I was going 20-25 mph.

heard a grinding scraping noise as I turned.

looked down, it was dark could not see squat, so i pull over to the side.

the dang center stand wasnt all the way up, i have never done that before!
rarely do I even use the center stand, but I had noticed one running light was flickering on the ride to work, so I was running the bike on the centerstand to wiggle the wires ( they only come on when its running)

maybe I need to add a spring to it or something.

I guess? I would think the stand would fold up, but a lateral load on it, might be a bad thing.

either way, Ill be checking more closely in the future.

maybe there is some utility to this type of lighting!
at least I could see if the stand is up or down at night.

Been awhile since I've had time to catch up. The gopro video of the Utah crash was scarry. Things went south in a hurry. Lucky it wasn't worse.
Hope to ride Saturday if everything works out, an unplanned outage at work messing up my free time. Was looking at the slap trax. Thanks so much for posting them Doc.
