I had that happen to a case of cans a year or so ago..
slide off the back of my bike, more than have busted, beer was spraying all over me as I tried to gather them up on the one lane gravel road before any other traffic came.

stuff them all away on the bike, rode a few more miles, unloaded, EVERY single one of the 24 cans was ruptured.

As bad as that pic may look, to be honest, I would be happy to drive up to that. There are plenty of good beers still left there. I would consider it a fee to help clean up the mess.

Boy several stories come to mind
One of which involves me driving a 3ton refridgerated beer truck that had two pallets of 400 cases of beer topple over. Huge mess and lots of volunteers to clean up
