its hard to beat that 705 for the money I think Mattmuss.
everytire I find, and buy, and then like, seems to substanially increase in price before I buy another.

I wish knew which were good and which were bad, id buy several at a time.

Yup, the Shinkos seem to be priced right and for me they actually wear damn good. Tire prices have been on the rise the last couple years.

Yeah I've been really happy with the 705. I've got about 3500-4000 miles on it and I think I can get it to 6k-7k before I need to replace it. That's not too bad for a $85 tire that I've ridden pretty hard. I'd just like to try another tire before I settle on that one, and the K60 sounds like a good (but expensive) option from what I've read. Maybe I'll buy another 705 at the same time so they don't raise the price before I buy another

As for the front, there aren't too many aggressive options unless I wanted to put a rear on and raise the fender. I'm not sold on that right now. I've heard a lot of good things about the TKC so that's what I'll go with.

On another note, my brother bought his first motorcycle last night, a '12 KLR with some good accessories He bought it from an inmate in AZ, it's a good looking bike and apparently it looks better in person. I don't know who's more excited, me or him!

That's the beauty of buying well farkled used bikes, they spend all the money and time installing!

He's pretty excited, says it rides really well. He hated my Versys because it was too responsive...he was used the TW that you have to fight through corners

If he decides to sell it in the next year or two I may just buy it from him. I'd try to keep it in one piece unlike some people around here....

I think a Versys would have to be a blast to ride.
